
Florida construction projects can and do fail from lack of experienced, independent, construction leadership.
Most construction industry professionals really work for themselves - we work solely for the owner. Unlike construction managers, contractors, or design firms, ECS does not profit from scope expansion, delays, or project cost escalation. Nor is ECS beholden to using architects, engineers, or contractors simply based on their reputation or because they prefer to team with their friends in the design and construction industry. Instead, we vet prospective firms for cost, performance, and availability to recommend those companies that best meet the owner's financial and operational objectives.
Florida's ongoing construction boom means there is a shortage of good engineers, architects, and construction staff. Industry workload is high and employee turnover is common. Sometimes general contractors assign an employee to be their project manager who lacks the necessary training or available time to perform as expected. As a result, owners face more risk for cost increases, schedule delays, and workmanship issues.
For owners to be treated openly and fairly on their capital investments, they must have a qualified, independent, owner-aligned, project leader.

✅ Executive Level Reporting: We lead ongoing Progress Meetings with the design, construction, and owner teams to foster transparency, identify and resolve issues, track progress, and record "Action Items" for completion that include the name of the responsible person and their required completion date. Our Executive Progress Reports keep owners informed and projects running smoothly.
